WELCOME TO THE NEW WEB SITE! Hope you find it as nice as my others, I had to down size for economical reasons. This site costs a lot less and is much easier for me to put pictures of the work on. You will notice that the pics have there own gallery now, and that makes it easier for me to post and give a little info about each piece. Now with that said, I have not had time to get all the pictures I have, posted yet and that is going to be a on going process. Woods Art has been creating stunning hand-turned wooden art since 1997. Just as
each tree, each piece of wood is unique, all of my art pieces are one of a kind.
You can also have a special piece made to order.
All
of our pieces start as California reclaimed raw
wood, mainly Manzanita, Redwood, and Fruit or Nut woods found locally in the
Sacramento
Valley. Many of the pieces are made from core tree
wood left behind after forest fires or salvaged from the local green waste
centers and building sites. Each piece of raw wood is selected for its natural
beauty, interesting characteristics and color and then turned to enhance the
piece's natural qualities.
My signature
Serenity Wooden Vases combine vibrant epoxy resins with raw wood to produce
spectacular wooden art. As a gift or an addition to your home décor, these vases
emit a sense of warmth and beauty that only wood can offer. Each piece is truly
one of a kind, signed and numbered by the me and made to last
generations.
